BGA Rules

Admission
  1. Application for admission should be made to Principal on the prescribed admission form. The Principal reserves the right without specifying any reason whatsoever, for granting admission to an applicant.
  2. Admissions to pre-primary classes are made according to the age of child: 3+ years for play group; 3.5 + years for Nursery and above four years for KG. Also a child’s ability will be taken into consideration.
  3. Admissions to primary and higher classes are made after a pre-admission test and the production of a valid transfer certificate from the previous institution.
  4. Pre- admission test form along with prospectus will be issued on a payment Rs 300 for all classes. For admission in upper classes test will be taken in core subjects.
Re-admission fee
  1. As regular attendance is an important requirement for successful results, a previously written application for leave must be submitted well in advance in case of illness and other unforeseen circumstances, the guardian should inform the principal in writing as soon possible. A minimum attendance of 80% of the total working days is required in the academic year falling short of which the student will not be allowed to sit in the examination.
  2. The name of any student who remains absent for 10 days without leave shall be struck- off the rolls. On re-admission, fee of Rs. 200 will be charged and Rs. 2 per day will be charge as “absence fine”.
  3. A student whose name has been struck- off the rolls for absence without leave and who has been habitually late or persistently careless or indiscipline may not be re-admitted in the school.
  4. Every student must be present on the re-opening day after each vacation.
  5. No student can leave the school premises without the permission of principal.
  6. The Principal has the right to suspend any student in case of any mis conduct or disciplinary ground. The Principal may also ask the parents/guardians to withdraw their child from the school if his/her conduct or progress is not satisfactory.
  7. All entries of absence, late coming or half- day leave should be made in the diary & not on sheets of paper.
CLASS WORK & HOME WORK
  1. Class work which includes oral work, written work and test is taken into consideration for promotion.
  2. Home work in almost all subjects in all classes is given everyday. Guardians/Parents are requested to see that their children complete their home work regularly.
PARENTAL CO-OPERATION
  1. Parents are required to look into their ward’s school diary every day and see that the lessons and the homework assigned for the next day are done regularly by their wards.
  2. Remarks made in the school diary should be acknowledge and counter signed regularly by the parents.
  3. If you feel that your child is not making desired progress, please make it a point to discuss it with the Principal.
  4. Criticism of a student’s teacher or his school in presence of the child should be avoided because it may cause the student to loose respect for his teacher and the school.
  5. Parents are not allowed to meet their children or their teachers during the school hours without the prior permission of the Principal.
  6. Parents are expected to participate regularly in the school functions/ parent’s meeting whenever they are invited/informed.
  7. Our school teachers do not take tuition of their own students. Therefore, do not force them to teach your wards privately.
  8. Parents are requested to inform the school of any change of address/ phone number.
  9. Visitors are not allowed to meet the teachers in their respective class rooms.
    (I) Parents are required to send their children to school on time.
    (II) Presence of every child in the assembly is compulsory.
    (III) The child who fails to reach the school on time and does not attend the assembly will be sent back home.
    (IV) Parents should not take the child out of the city (BBK) without consulting the principal.
    (V) No sick child should be sent to the school with medicines to be taken during the school hours.
    (VI) Children will not be allowed to go home from school in between school hours.
  10. Please ensure that your ward takes part in all the activities of the school.
  11. The children not availing the conveyance facility, their parents are requested to pick- up their wards within 30 minutes after the school is over.
CHANGE OF RULES
  1. Rules and regulations mentioned in the prospectus may be changed without notice or may be with proper information.
  2. Any modification, as and when made, will be binding on all the existing students.
TEACHER – PARENTS MEETING (TPM)
BGA organizes the regular teachers- parents meeting in which talks are arranged on child education and child welfare. Attendance of at least one of the parents at such meeting is compulsory. Exchange of views between teachers and parents prove very useful in the grooming of children.
PAYMENT OF FEES
  1. The students selected for admission will pay fees within three days from the declaration of the results failing which the admission will stand cancelled.
  2. The timing for fee payment is 08:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Dates of depositing fee are before 12th of every month.
  3. Fee once paid will not be refunded in any case.
  4. The name of the students will be struck off on last working day of the month due to non payment of fee, nor will they be allowed to attend classes or appear in the examination. Name can be re- written on a payment of Rs. 200/- as re- admission fee along with previous dues on Principal’s order.
  5. If any student leaves the school in the mid-session he/she will have to pay fee for six months to obtain the T.C.
MONTHLY PROGRESS REPORT
Parents are expected to collect progress reports of their wards regularly on date announced by the school after every examination.In case of the progress report being lost, a duplicate card will be issued against a payment of Rs.100.
SCHOOL EXAMINATIONS
  1. Progress of the students will be assessed on the basis of assignments, project (as a part of formative assessment) and paper-pen task (as a part summative assessment). The marks obtained in these assessments will be taken into consideration at the time of determining annual promotion.
  2. Promotion is granted on the basis of the whole year’s work. The summative assessment 1 & 2 is a mean to re-affirm result of a full year’s work. The decision of the school authorities with regard to promotion is final.
  3. A student absent in any assessment /examination for any reasons will not be re-examined.
LIBRARY RULES
  1. Books will be issued and returned as per rules framed by the Principal.
  2. Books will be issued for a definite period of time.
  3. Only one book may be issued at a time.
  4. A late fine of Rs.5 per book will be charged daily until the book is returned.
  5. The student should point out any damage to the books prior to getting them issued in his or her name; otherwise he/she will be charged for the damage.
  6. Tearing, writing, scribbling or folding the corner of the pages will be considered as damage done to the books.
  7. Students losing books or damaging them will be asked to pay the current cost of the books.
  8. All the library books issued to the students must be returned before the commencement of the annual examination and a clearance slip must be obtained from the librarian to appear in the examination.
LABORATORY RULES
The school has well equipped laboratories to facilitate experiment work in various sciences. The following rules are to be observed in the laboratory.
  1. Equipment for use in the laboratory will be issued to the students as per rules.
  2. No equipment is to be taken out of the lab without a written permission.
  3. Any damage to the equipment during practical session will be borne by the students.
  4. All the apparatuses issued from the laboratories must be returned before the commencement of the final examination and a clearance certificate must be obtained from the science teachers to enable students to appear in the final examination.
COMPUTER LAB RULES
  1. The school has well equipped computer lab with all the basic amenities provided within the lab.
  2. Put off your shoes before entering the lab.
  3. Strict silence should be maintained in the computer lab.
  4. Students must use the computer with utmost care and avoid any misuse or damage to the equipments.
  5. Any damage done to the equipment will have to be made good by the person concerned.
  6. Non payment of dues/computer fees will debar the defaulter from the use of the computer facility till all dues are cleared.
  7. Use of any external storage devices are prohibited within the lab without the prior permission of faculty.
  8. Students are not allowed to use the computer in the absence of teachers.
  9. If any of the above rules is not followed then you will have to pay Rs. 50/- as fine.
